Agave craft and Mexican kitchen, built for East Village nights.
East Village is one of the densest dining corridors in New York. Within a ten-minute walk, El Camión competes with established Tex-Mex rooms and agave bars — and in a neighborhood where the choice of where to eat is made on Instagram Reels and Google Maps, the best kitchen does not win. The best-told story does.
We took on a simple, hard truth: in the East Village, you win the table before the guest ever tastes the food — in the feed, in vertical, in the first three seconds.
The Strategy
We positioned El Camión as the East Village reference for craft margaritas and Mexican cooking — on experience and craft, never on discounts. The work runs on a 90-day content system anchored in four pillars: Margarita Lab (the ritual at the bar), Taco Spotlight Tuesdays (technique and origin), East Village Nights (the room after dark), and Brunch Stories.
Every piece is vertical-first, captioned in English and Spanish, and built around a single job: Reserve, Get Directions, or Call. No piece asks for two things.
What we did
-
01.
Brand Master Book — The codified brand foundation — voice, visual identity, tone, and system rules that govern every touchpoint from the menu to the feed.
-
02.
Google Ads Campaign — Local paid media built for action: Directions, Call, and Reserve — every dollar targeted to the East Village dining decision window.
-
03.
Organic Content System — A bilingual content engine running on four pillars: Margarita Lab, Taco Spotlight Tuesdays, East Village Nights, and Brunch Stories — vertical-first, captioned in English and Spanish, built ad-ready from frame one.
The Engagement
Real deliverables, every cycle — the system that runs the room.
